Eastbound Hwy. 1 west of Calgary reopened after semi rollover

The eastbound lanes of the Trans-Canada Highway west of Calgary have been reopened following a semi rollover early Sunday morning.

The rollover happened on Highway 1 just east of Highway 68 near Morley, and blocked both eastbound lanes for several hours.

According to 511 Alberta, the rollover was cleared shortly after 9 a.m.

All traffic heading to Calgary was detoured at the Morley Road exit to eastbound Highway 1A while crews worked to clean up the scene.

The investigation is ongoing, and there is no word on any injuries.
