Meghan’s new take on being a royal has now sparked speculation about the Duchess planning to dive into active US politics to raise more awareness of causes such as “gender and racial equality.”

Speaking to Today, commentator Sam Rubin said: “A purported royal expert, someone who has worked with Prince Charles for eight years, is making a documentary.

“The documentary is called ‘Meghan for President?’ and in it, he suggests that Meghan Markle is sincere about her and she could pursue a career in American politics.

“This documentary is about her speaking out on gender and racial equality issues. She does seem to be the most politically-oriented modern royal.”

But filmmaker Nick Bullen, the man behind the ‘Meghan for President?’ documentary, claimed he “could see her going down her route” to maximise her influence to promote debate on causes she holds dear.

Mr Bullen told True Royalty TV: “There’s much more to Meghan and I think we’re only just beginning to see the early days of what Meghan Markle will really do now that she has this global platform.

“The most surprising thing in the documentary was how early in her life Meghan started to make a difference and how important change was to her.”

Mr Bullen continued: “One of the things we found was back at the age of about 10 when she was in her school in Hollywood, she organized a because a little boy in her class, his older brother, was going to fight.

The California teacher continued: “School was important to her, learning was important and she had a voice.

“She’s an incredibly clever, driven focused lady who throughout her life has wanted to bring about change.”

However, the Duchess of Sussex last month admitted to struggling to cope with the increasing attention she has been facing since her wedding to Prince Harry in May 2018.
